As Cllr. Peter Mates says, we cannot afford to lose good prime farmland, common sense has left us if we destroy our means of feeding our own people.
In the virtual slump we are in, the properties will find few buyers/ few folk wishing to rent.
Affordable homes sounds all very grand, but what use is or example; shared ownership -if prices rise in the future and you cannot afford the next share,it an be a trap.

Good luck with your campaign to stop this so-called eco town. Greenwash is the new whitewash. In the light of unstable global weather conditions and rising sea levels, we cannot afford to lose a square yard of agricultural land in this already over-populated island of ours. The UK imports nearly 60% of its food. Will other nations continue to feed us when they cannot feed themselves?
