This is the first time I have been onto this site and i am very impressed. I have just set up my own blog that will focus on Enviornmental issues within my local area of Lancashire and ecostreet is an inspiration. I have already picked up some great green tips that will help me personally and i am eager to get started on my own posts.

This is so darn cute! We can’t recycle bottle caps where I live because they don’t have a number on them. This would be a great project for dealing with them! Do you think a whole curtain would be too much?? … I may have to get on this one.

Great idea - using different bottle caps (of varying colors) - you could even match existing decor. Oh - even better! How about filling the cap with tightly wrapped newspaper (will look like a colorful spindle) - then the lampshade will veer away from the bottle-cap look and enter into a realm of detailed-art! Great stuff - keep it coming!
