This is the first time I have been onto this site and i am very impressed. I have just set up my own blog that will focus on Enviornmental issues within my local area of Lancashire and ecostreet is an inspiration. This is so darn cute! We can’t recycle bottle caps where I live because they don’t have a number on them. This would be a great project for dealing with them! Do you think a whole curtain would be too much?? … I may have to get on this one.

Great idea – using different bottle caps (of varying colors) – you could even match existing decor. Oh – even better! How about filling the cap with tightly wrapped newspaper (will look like a colorful spindle) – then the lampshade will veer away from the bottle-cap look and enter into a realm of detailed-art! Great stuff – keep it coming!
