i think this is a great campaign! it is optional, and reasonable - being encouraged to have just one child would be an unreasonable policy.

this country, and the world in general is HUGELY overpopulated. There is no way the world's resources can handle the continuation of human growth. We see the effects of overpopulation of other animals. Our little country cannot support so many people. Have a look at the actual OPT website and see just how vital it is for people to consider this policy, rather than going by one little article.

i have seen first-hand the effects of massive overpopulation in other countries, and Britain is fast-headed the same way! there is a limit to the number of people, animals, anything living, that the world can take, and nature used to keep the world's balance very well, but now humans have stepped outside the governings of nature. There is nothing to regulate the balance of humans except ourselves.

Sir David Attenborough applauds this campaign, and so do i and all my friends!

Having read through this article, one would assume that this is another policy hot and fresh from the oven of the Common Purpose kitchen.

It smacks of something from Communist China under Chairman Mao! I am totally against this and I and others will fight this facist policy.

Answer me this question please, what right do these NAZIS have to tell others how many children to have? It's a pity their parents didn't follow this policy otherwise we'd have a few less of these idiots in the world!

Surely a better policy is to be prepared and have all the infrastructure and resources ready for the expected increase in population, and by that I mean having a sound manufacturing and agricultural base for starters (which the UK Labour party have all but killed!)

This idea needs showing the red rather than green card - FAIL!
