This is great information. We started eating organic food when my first son was born. I fed him organic baby food. They have some great brands available. I feel that my whole family is a lot healthier now. Thanks for the information.

Going green is the thing to do today to help our environment. You have shown different ways to go green which also for many will save them money. For new parents keeping baby clothed can be quite an expense. Using second hand clothes will definitely keep cost down but is also a great way to be more eco-friendly.

We were green before, and have only accelerated after our twin boys were born almost 2 1/2 years ago.

One somewhat tough concept is diet, as my wife and I are both fish-only vegetarian pluses. Overall, if their food is organic, I need to be OK with them trying something like chicken. I can't eat it anymore, but denying could turn things ugly.

OK, parent ramble over! Great post...

We started being green as soon as our first daughter was born. In our household, the children learn that electricity is valuable and not to waste. Every week, we have a no-electricity evening. It’s rather fun, and a great family activity. We are trying to spread it to our neighbors as well.

Err, don't wish to lower the tone of the site, but "part 1"....surely there's a bit that happens before the pregnancy? Perhaps "part 0"?
