Being green can have everything to do with saving money, which is why I love shopping at second-hand shops. There are charity shops, dress agencies and also the school second-hand shop for used school uniform. The internet is also a great place to pick up second-hand goodies, good places to start including Freecycle and Ebay.
If your impression of second-hand things is dull and dowdy, take a look at these vintage finds from Etsy.

Back to the Earth Clothing is here.
The Spudcoat is a waterproof cloak made entirely of bioplastic derived from potato starch and other natural resources. The result is a 100%biodegradable and compostable product. This means that at the end of its life cycle it converts in to organic matter and is returned in its entirety to the biosphere; closing the loop.
The spudcoat is distributed in the UK and Ireland by Comp Bio Products and is ideal for all outdoor activities, festivals, sporting events, walking and cycling
