Fairtrade Fortnight 2007 starts today, 26 February, and continues until 11th March 2007. The theme of this year’s campaign is Change today, choose Fairtrade. A number of events are being held during the two weeks all over the UK, have a look at the listings here. And you can enter a competition to have your Fairtrade recipe included in the definitive Fairtrade Everyday Cookbook, published by Dorling Kindersley.

I also noticed when doing some shopping at Waitrose this morning that they are discounting Fairtrade products during Fairtrade Fortnight, so it’s a good time to sample some of those products that you’ve always wanted to try.
