On the topic of battery recycling... I read in our local paper that Friends of the Earth in Alton have been putting pressure on Sainsbury's and the supermarket have agreed to pilot this at their Alton store. They say if it proves popular it will become a permanent feature. Anybody living in and around Alton - you know where to recycle your batteries now! These are ingenious!
