At last, a commercial vehicle that can carry two tonnes up to one hundred miles at fifty miles an hour with zero emissions. These quiet, pollution free Modec vans have been launched in the UK and are a sound choice for businesses, with zero congestion charges, zero road tax and zero operator licence requirements, all adding up to big savings over the life of the vehicle.

…possibly the greatest leap forward in commercial vehicles since the internal combustion engine.

I couldn’t find anywhere they said it explicitly, but I guess they’re plug-ins. It becomes a win-win situation if the company/council sources their power from Ecotricity or someone similar.

  • Yes, they are plug-ins. What very green vans they would be if they were run on green electricity.
