Lion Brand Yarn is offering a free knitting pattern for an eco-friendly shopping bag inspired by their Lion Organic Cotton yarn. The bag is stretchy — it holds a TON of stuff but collapses easily. Lion Organic Cotton is not dyed, but grows naturally in brown, green and white! PLEASE NOTE: you will have to register on the site to be able to see the pattern. Get those knitting needles out!

That is awesome that they are offering it for free. More people that use reusable shopping bags, the less end up in land fills.
