Does anyone else find it suspect that TerraNaturals is owned in part by DuPont, the chemical/science conglomerate, the inventor of CFCs (cholorflourocarbons) and Teflon? I threw out my deodorant when I read about their invention, Zemea, a glycol that is not propylene-based. I simply don't trust DuPont to process this glycol in a way that is completely harmless.

I'm using a natural deodorant from Terra Naturals which I'd like you to review next time. It lasts as well as any commercial deodorant (I bike to work and a single application in the morning lasts all day), and they have an extra strength "sport" version which is even stronger. It comes in stick, spray and roll-on and is completely natural. No petroleum, no aluminum, never tested on animals, non-GMO, etc., etc. A lot of deodorants claim to be natural but still contain alum, aluminum, and/or petroleum. This is the only one I know of that has none of these ingredients and truly lasts all day.

I use a deodorant from Alvin Connor Natural Balance. Its a shame that not many people have heard of this product. I didnt quite believe it would work at first but now I love it. I still sweat, but I sweat less and never smell. Alvin Connor has a spray and a rock deodorant, both extremely effective. The spray is really unique as it has a hard natural rock substance at the bottom of the bottle, you simply fill the bottle with water and refill until the rock has finished. I have been using mine for a few months now and it has barely dissloved the top. It will probly last me over a year! Great value for money and great for our environment!!!

I use the solid Pit Rok. I am fussy about deodourant and have tried various "natural" ones that don't work well, but this one really does. And you're certainly right about it lasting forever. I'd like to know a bit more about it though - do you know what it's made of? Is it really "natural", or lower impact than regular alternatives? My favourite thing about it is that not only is it fragrance free (they haven't added any smells to it) but it actually doesn't smell of anything (unlike many "fragrance free" deodourants that still smell strongly soapy to me)
