Jobvine takes a look at what green jobs are and at growth over the past few years. With most governments investing millions of Dollars into making their countries greener each year, all industries are getting affected. This graphic shows how some of those industries have changed. They also examine the top IT companies and the effort they are making into saving the environment. Google has been completely carbon neutral since 2007. By 2012, Microsoft plans to reduce its carbon footprint by 30 percent compared to 2007 levels. If you are looking for a job at a top company like that its time to examine how you can become greener at your job.

  • Interesting…Tehres no doubt that the IT companies are striving there best for the protection of the environment and saving mother earth.

  • 1. I’ve always admired the people that design these infographics.
    2. It is very interesting to notice that most of the companies on the list are companies from the IT industry. My question would be, is it because those companies are “smarter”, or because they are in an industry that CAN be turned towards the green side?
