You may remember that some time ago I posted up a casting call from MSN for their Live Spaces Eco Trip. Well, they’re now on the road and you can keep up with their progress at Windows Live Spaces.

London has a new eco-friendly taxi service. Five Toyota Prius’s were delivered to Climatecars this month, with another three to arrive for next month. Climatecars join the growing trend in eco-friendly taxis. London’s other eco-friendly taxi company is GreenTomatoCars.

Ikea has replaced company cars with Honda Civic Hybrids, and has distributed 60,000 low-energy lightbulbs to it’s 9,600 staff. They also plan to be powered and heated by sustainable energy sources worldwide by 2012. Not bad going.

Mercedes is set to unveil 18 different eco-friendly models at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

Even Ferrari is thinking about how they can improve their environmental image.

Triumph International have invented a bra that converts into a shopping bag. Strange though it may seem, this is a perfectly serious product. Can you imagine the looks you’d get if you whipped your bra off in the market to convert it to a shopping bag to carry your melons home in?

ASDA have launched a range of CDs in compostable packaging.

Green Homes

Listed Green is a new site helping US house hunters find green homes. It looks pretty easy to use, and explains just what an eco-friendly house is. (via: move.com)
