Friends of the Earth are giving away a £100 voucher to spend in their online shop to the best green story submitted to them by the 31st May 2007. Tell your story in less than 300 words, and the winning story will be considered as a case study in the new FOE book Cool Life Cool Planet.
If you’re more visually orientated, Friends of the Earth are inviting both amateur and professional filmmakers, animators and designers to submit minute long green films to be judged by a panel of experts including Oscar-winning David Puttnam and film producer Andrew MacDonald. The winner will be awarded Best Green Film during festival month in September, and can win some top prizes including professional editing software and free post production. All entries will also be automatically entered into Filminute 2007 and will be hosted on Friends of the Earth You Tube channel.
