Make Every Last Drop Count

Did you know it takes 20,000 litres of water to manufacture 1kg of cotton? Now think about how many items of cotton clothing you have in your wardrobe…

And the next time you sip on a cup of coffee, remember that’s used up about 130 litres of water before it ends up being savoured by you.

Every Last Drop is an informative and interactive website with a clear message: Save water!

In the UK we each use around 150 litres of water per day. But this is only part of the picture. When you consider the water required to produce all the stuff we consume, we actually guzzle a massive 4,645 litres every day.

And there are over 1,000,000,000 earthlings who still lack access to clean water.

Take a look at some other ways to save water:

Very interesting! It’s something you don’t always think about when discussing water conservation.

Water is how we stay alive. We need to take care of that precious resource. Use it, don’t abuse it!

Water is a need to us. We can live without food but we cannot live without water. We need to use it properly because there will come a time that water become very expensive. So don’t waste water but save it.

We all know that without water there would be no life on Earth. And yet, many do not care about the fact that one day there may be no more drinking water. It seems little, but small gestures, such as cleaning the sidewalk with a broom and not just with a hose, wash your car using a bucket, turn off the shower while washing the head, or pass the soap, etc., make all the difference! So we can not give up to save our planet, we must do our part every day!

Unfortunately a lot of people are going to read those figures and conclude that if it uses that much water to make a coffee it doesn’t matter if they waste a few litres every time they flush 🙁
