Ariel, Disney’s mermaid wonder, is reaching to out kids to promote cleaner oceans.
Environmental Defense, The National Marine Sanctuary, The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association (NOAA) and PSA extraordinaire, The Ad Council, have teamed up with Disney to raise awareness about the health of our oceans.
The ads are cute and feel like watching a movie trailer (complete with that movie trailer guy voice), and the website is very kid friendly with games and suggestions on what you can do to at home and beyond to do your part. Parents and teachers can also get something out of the site with educational materials and helpful links.
Getting kids involved in efforts to clean up the world is a great way to get adults to follow suit.
