Boxhouse won Rob Pyatt the YAAG 2006 Special Recoqnition Award for Architecture in association with the University of Colorado Boulder. It is a renovation and addition project of an existing 900sf 1940’s property. The existing home was recycled and combined with prefabricated compressed straw wall panels with low cost, locally available materials.
