Icons of the environment

icons.jpgThe Environment Agency asks the nation to choose an icon to represent the British environment. Contenders for the honour include salmon, the Thames Barrier, the Eden Project, hedgerows and the bicycle. “Icons of the environment” is inviting nominations and votes at their website. The online ballot is open to the public until the 5th January 2007.
