The BBC has drawn up a shortlist of the UK’s greatest unsung landmarks from over a thousand suggested by the public. Amongst the churches, bridges and remnants of our industrial inheritance is the Green Park Wind Turbine. In Green Park, Reading, it towers over junction 11 of the M1 and is seen by millions of motorists a year.
